Role Description
Landon Mills State Farm is looking for a motivated, competitive, and relationship-focused Account Manager – Sales to join our growing team.
No insurance experience or insurance license is required to apply. We can teach insurance, our systems, and our sales process. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, work ethic, personality, and willingness to learn.
This is a sales-focused role for someone who enjoys talking with people, building relationships, and working toward goals. You'll help new and existing customers understand their insurance options while growing our agency through new business, cross-selling, referrals, and consistent follow-up.
What You'll Do
- Connect with prospective customers through inbound leads, outbound calls, texts, emails, referrals, and follow-up.
- Help customers with Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and other State Farm products.
- Ask questions to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate coverage.
- Build relationships and consistently follow up with prospects.
- Identify opportunities to bundle products and better protect customers.
- Confidently ask for the business and help customers get coverage in place.
- Maintain organized notes and follow-up activity.
- Work toward individual and team production goals.
- Provide a great customer experience throughout the sales process.

Qualifications
- Strong communication and people skills.

- Comfortable communicating by phone, text, email, and in person.
- Able to stay organized and consistently follow up.
- Willing to obtain the required Washington insurance licenses after joining our team.
Previous insurance or sales experience is NOT required. Experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, banking, athletics, or other people-focused environments can certainly be helpful, but we're more interested in who you are and how you approach your work.
